Co-president

Andrea has been a co-organizer for WIAD Switzerland since 2015. She joined the global team in 2020 and is keen on continuing to develop WIAD in the next years. Andrea lives and works in Zurich, Switzerland.

Co-president; Co-Global Executive Producer

A local organizer for WIAD Los Angeles in 2017 and a local advisor ever since, Grace works with the global board of directors and sits as a member of Finance, Community & Events, and Education committees. She's been working with the global team since 2018. Grace lives and works in Los Angeles, California, United States.

Director, Operations, Content; Secretary

Anita joined the global team in 2019. She was a former IAI Board member. She lives and works in San Francisco, California, United States.

Treasurer

Celeste joined the global board in 2020 and chairs the Finance committee. She lives and works in Portland, Oregon, United States.

Director, Community & Events; Co-Global Executive Producer

Andrew has been a member of the IAI since 2005, and served as an IAI online community development member since 2017. He’s volunteered at World IA Day in Vancouver, Canada, and organized Victoria’s first WIAD in 2019. In 2019, Andrew joined the global team as Global Executive Producer for 2020. In 2020 he became Director, Community & Events and is working with the team to develop a new global information architecture community.

Director, Accessibility

Sam Ashlee (formerly VanHorn) joined the global team in 2020 as Director, Accessibility. She has been a local organizer for WIAD Atlanta. She lives and works in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.

Co-Director, Education

Krispian joined the global board in 2018 as Director, Social Media and Public Relations. She has been a speaker and local organizer for WIAD San Francisco and Vancouver. She is currently co-Director, Education. She lives and works in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

A former IA Institute Board member from 2018-2019, Rupananda Misra joined the global team in 2020 as co-Director, Education of World IA Day. He lives in Greater Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States

Director, Social Media

Vivian joined the global board in 2020 and is in charge of all things Social Media. She is a UX Designer based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada but is Caribbean born and raised. In her free time she likes to paddle and lead workouts with her local competitive dragon boat team

Regional Director, Middle East & Africa

Ahmad joined the global team in June 2021. He has been a speaker and local organizer for WIAD Jordan. He currently lives and works in Jordan.

Regional Director, North America; Partnerships

Asha Singh joined the global team in 2020 as a regional director for North America and also sits on the Finance committee. She lives and works in Washington, D.C., United States.

Regional Director, Middle East and Africa

Ghada is a content strategist and designer and a strong advocate for digital Arabic content. She joined the global team in 2020 as the regional director for the Middle East and Africa. She lives and works in Cairo, Egypt.

Regional Director, Latin America

A WIAD speaker, organizer, and volunteer, Luis joined the global board as a regional director for Latin America in 2020. He lives and works in Bogota, Colombia.

Regional Director, North America

Mark joined the global board as a regional director for North America in 2020. He was a speaker and an organizer for WIAD Cincinnati in 2020 and 2021. He lives and works in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States

Regional Director, Europe

Paolo joined the global board as a regional director for Europe in 2020. He is a local organizer for WIAD Italia. He lives and works in Italy.
