Karen is a Sr. UX Researcher/Designer with The Home Depot. Her focus throughout her career has been to alleviate the burden of users, first as an Instructional Designer and later as a Content Strategist. These interests eventually led her to Iowa State University, where she received an M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction. When she can, she enjoys learning yoga, Pilates, and (because she can't carry a tune in a bucket) learning to play the bass fiddle.
