I’ve always been fascinated by learning new tools for self-expression. This has led me to work as a glassblower, woodworker, artist, musician, audio engineer, and most recently, a UX Designer. In 2013 I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Asheville with a BA in Music and departmental distinction. From there I spent many years composing music, working as a touring musician, and performing all over the US, playing festivals such as Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and SXSW. In May of 2019 I began making my transition into UX by enrolling in General Assembly’s 10 week UX Design Immersive program, where I found a love for researching and prototyping. I am currently working as a freelance UX Designer, engaging with a range of clients including a local veterinary clinic and a cultural arts center. |
