Marc Miquel is a User Engagement PhD candidate in Universitat Pompeu Fabra and a game designer in Barcelona, Catalonia. He worked in the gambling industry as a user researcher and has always been attracted by games. He also created the company Catalan Games to explain Catalonia’s culture in a funny way. He also curates darkpatterns.org with Harry Brignull in an effort to stamp out user interfaces designed to trick and improve the web.
