Ingrid Pierre is currently the principal UX Designer at the MBTA’s Customer Technology Department, where she leads the design of MBTA.com and of Skate, a digital tool used by field staff for bus dispatching. Having come to the transportation space from Boston-based startups, Ingrid’s work focuses on helping both riders and operational staff manage the complexity of the MBTA’s transit network.
Prior to working at the T, Ingrid graduated from Harvard University with a degree in Visual Studies, and spent her early career designing web and mobile applications centered on women’s health and livelihoods.
